Students love process. A process is a unique way of producing a visual image that is not just drawing or painting directly on paper. This project involves creating a picture using school glue, and then using it as a base for making crayon rubbings. Children who have difficulty coloring in the lines or those who feel they are not artistically talented have the opportunity to create an image that does not have to be anything. It also is enjoyable because children have the opportunity to use as many colors they wish, to scribble in any direction they wish to and create their very own patterns.
